2. WHAT CAN I EXPECT BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER A TREATMENT?
BEFORE:
The treatment process begins with a consultation to discuss your skincare concerns and goals, review pricing and complete necessary informed consent and release forms. We will also go over specific pre-treatment guidelines, such as avoiding sun exposure and retinols, before scheduling a treatment time that best suits you.
DURING:
The area is cleansed and prepped. During both the Plexr and NeoGen treatments, the devices emit tiny plasma arcs (flashes) near the skin’s surface, creating a slight warmth and possibly a mild pin-prick sensation. The procedure is generally well-tolerated.
AFTER:
Aftercare instructions, including avoiding sun exposure and using sunscreen, will be provided to ensure a smooth and optimal healing process. Post-procedure side effects will vary based on the device used and treatment intensity.
