2. WHAT CAN I EXPECT BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER A TREATMENT?
BEFORE:
The treatment process begins with a consultation to discuss your skincare concerns and goals, review pricing and complete necessary informed consent and release forms. We will also go over specific pre-treatment guidelines, such as avoiding sun exposure and retinols, before scheduling a treatment time that best suits you.
DURING:
The area is cleansed and prepped, and topical numbing cream may be applied to minimize discomfort. During both the Plexr and NeoGen treatments, the devices emit tiny plasma arcs (flashes) near the skin’s surface, creating a slight warmth and possibly a mild pin-prick sensation. The procedure is generally well-tolerated.
AFTER:
Aftercare instructions, including avoiding sun exposure and using sunscreen, will be provided to ensure a smooth and optimal healing process. Post-procedure side effects will vary based on the device used and treatment intensity.

4. HOW LONG BEFORE I SEE RESULTS & HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?

Both Plexr and NeoGen have progressive visible results (tissue regeneration) upwards of 24 months following treatments. Plexr semi-ablative treatments: Temporary redness, swelling and small carbon crusts (dots) on the treated skin surface. Downtime typically ranges from 7 to 10 days, depending on area and intensity of the treatment.
NeoGen treatments: Temporary redness, swelling and peeling similar to a sunburn, which typically resolves within 7 to 10 days as the skin regenerates.
6. IS IT PAINFUL?
Discomfort during Plexr and NeoGen treatments are typically minimal and described as a hot, pin-pricking sensation. In less intensive treatments, clients experience no discomfort at all. Overall, the procedure is well-tolerated by most clients.

The number of sessions required varies depending on individual needs, treatment goals and if you are getting a non-ablative vs. semi-ablative treatment. Treatment protocols are tailored to meet your specific skincare needs. For all treatments, results continue to compound over time as collagen and elastin regenerate.
NON-ABLATIVE PLEXR (Shower, Rockstar, Glass Lift…)
It is recommended to book treatments every 2 to 6 months (age dependent) to start. Be sure to book the Glass Lift treatment a minimum of 3 weeks before the big event!

SEMI-ABLATIVE PLEXR (Eyelid hooding, Scars, Static Lines, Moles…)

10. AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE?
Your safety is top priority. Plasma treatments may not be suitable if you have certain health conditions. It is crucial to disclose your full medical history during your consultation to ensure the best and safest outcome. Key contraindications include:
- Uncontrolled diabetes
- Current pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Active cancer
- An active infection in the treatment area
- Electronic implants such as a pacemaker or ICD
- A history of keloid or hypertrophic (raised) scarring.
